Still a complete muppet though...
As for the game-it's interesting that Payette comes in for such criticism from the opposition-did you know that, according to the Cage Forum, Kalmikov 'destroyed him in front of his adoring crowd*'. Funny-all I saw was Payette go bombing in to get revenge for a cross-check from behind, Kalmikov drop the gloves and give a decent account of himself, and then a Payette punch finally land to put him down after a good twenty seconds. Black and gold obviously tints things differently. I just find it amusing that a crowd who used to lionise Barry 'cheap-shot king' Nieckar can have ANY right to call the opposition 'a bunch of goons'
Also, according to Gary Moran, the Carlson scrap was premeditated in order to get 'revenge' for the whole Ahlroos incident. Really shows the class of the man if he asks his team to jump an opposition player with no interest in fighting for an incident that both players concerned have shook hands on, doesn't it? If these comments are true, perhaps the league should take a hand...

It was a scary few minutes for me on Saturday, when the lads from B2P said they were pretty sure the 2nd leg of the Challenge Cup Semi-Final was on Tuesday 18th January (the day me and Laura go to see Velvet Revolver) As you can imagine, i was NOT happy thinking i was going to miss the game. It didn't help when i had both Whiskey and Andy winding me up saying "Oh, you're going to miss the best game ever" etc..
Thankfully (after asking a Panthers fan) they told me the 2nd leg was on the 19th Januray, wooo! Happy days!
And oh yeh, i can't wait to watch the game!!
