Great performance, great win but at what cost? With Doug and Tom already out. We loose Andre for tomorrow night and Peasy did not come out for the second. What was Chris Mac on tonight? He always skates his socks of but I hav'nt seen him check like that before!
Also, another couple of classic Pavol hip-checks.

Good performance last night but I just hope it was good enough. I am very dissapointed that we let them get one. Exiting game though, fights were good. Dissapointing that Blaze failed score on a number of powerplays but the all round performance was good. Just a shame that there wasn't more fans at the Sky Dome to watch it. Afterall it was our first ever semi final at this level. Never mind though because hopefully we'l have a final to buy tickets for soon .

hmmmm, I am pleased to hear about the result kinda. I suppose a win, is a win, but it was our home leg and one goal advantage might not be enough to take with us to Nottingham, mind you hopefully when we go to Nottingham we'll have a full roster.
In game's like these it always pumps up both sets of supporters to be loud, good stuff.
Tonight is gonna be tough now though, without Payette against a very physially dominating side that is the London Racers. Also our 3 d-men will be very tired tonight. It will be a tough game tonight, but all I can say is Come on the Blaze- if we win tonight it will be a very good weekend.

IMO Belak or Martin should of got MOM as except for the 2 mins they each had in the box they were out for every penalty kill. They both played superb. Wade must have thought whats going on when we had all that 5 on 3 time to kill in the 3rd as he was on the ice the entire time.

Seems like we fans got a bit of a slating agein
Taken from the cage Under the subtitle of "Bad Points"
- Coventry fans. The moron in the cap and another dirty chav were both ejected for the unsuitable gestures to the away support and if justice exists they shall recieve bans from the Skydome arena. On the other hand, just to prove that i'm not completely bias, there was a man in front of me with a recent gold Panthers jersey with Paek #2 on the back who was sticking his fingers up at the home crowd frequently. There's no place for that in UK hockey. You should pay attention Shaggy, that is a real example of someone who is a disgrace to the club.
It is getting a bit tiresome that there are still one or two idiots (on both sides) who persist with this sort of action

Have a good look at Nottinghams "cage" we and Andre in particular are getting a right slagging. One of them goes as far as to say that he is a disgrace. Which is a bit rich coming from a team that once contained Barry Nickare (not sure how to spell it but you know who I mean) and Dodi Woods and sold videos glorifying their exploits !
This being the same supporters who criticised the Coventry crowd when Alrhoos was injured earlier in the season and then cheered and jeered when Andre left the ice hurt on Saturday. Interesting how their opinions change when they become the underdogs isn't it !!

Same match, different subject. As far as I can see the Elite website has included our win as 2 points to the league standings - surely it wasn't a combined game ?

It may of had something to do with a panthers fan, who got kicked out for foul mouthed abuse or something from that area of the arena? But i'm not to sure who they were ment to of abused.

yeah, and i wish i'd remember stuff, like psychology for a test tomorrow..but oh well The apalling behaviour was obviously a minoritory and there fore not too bad and i understand that it has been worse in other places, which have already been drawn over loads so i wont go into that. But both games were great although last night i would have like to have seen a win. Their defense just seemed to get better as time went on. Oh well

Also think Soupy is probably right on the money with what potentially happened. Probably some foul language and/or gestures I would imagine as opposed to any threatening behaviour
