He'll need to improve his fitness because any player who can't last 5 sets will struggle to win anything. But other than that he has got the potential. He played some great tennis at Wimbledon so there is no reason why he can't be a Wimbledon Champion of the future.

So is this is for the next 10 years? "Come on Tim" changes to "Come on Andrew" and we all say he's rubbish even though he will get to the semis every year.

I was waiting for somebody to mention the fact that he is Scottish as there has been big debate on teletext about it in the section where people send letters expressing their sporting views (I know I am sad for reading Teletext P546 but who cares). Anyway the argument is whether Andrew Murray should be called British or Scottish. Obviously he is both although the Scots want him to be classed as Scottish where as the English want him to be British due to the fact that Tim Henman for one has always been called British rather than English and if you watch Tim Henman matches it is always Union Jacks you see being waved about in the crowd rather than St George's Crosses. So make your mind people. Is our new hero British or Scottish? I don't actually care either way due to being half Scottish myself

British! The Welsh and Scots can argue it all they want, but they ARE British. Fact.

Murray has a long way to go before he'll be winning Wimbledon. A) Control his aggression B) Control his fitness C) Control his ego
It must be really hard for him, 18 years old, the papers saying HE CAN GO ALL THE WAY, HENMAN HILL IS NOW MURRAY MOUTAIN etc.. I think Britain piled too much pressure on the lad.
