Next week Team USA take on Team England in the Soccerball World Series. Some off the biggest stars in World Soccerball such as Goal Kicker Wayne Rooney, Allstar D-Man Rio Ferdinand and Middle Centre Joe Cole will all be in action in this uniqe game that could only take place once in a lifetime and is the biggest event ever in World Soccerball.
Now from the England perspective. Friendly international against the USA. Will be a good chance to test out some youngsters and will give the players a nice relaxing break at the end of a long season.

Many of the regular names that will be world cup bound will be missing on the tour or only playing part of games which the publicity demands

i say start with Andy Johnson up front, and Robert Green in goal.
plus 9 other random players to fill the gaps, not bothered who because it is a waste of time.

This will be a complete waste of time. Given that the English season has been hijacked to give the "best" preparation for the national team by ruining the F.A. Cup next year why don't the F.A. just give players the summer off after the competitive matches are done so that they have time to recover from so called "knocks" accrued in the seaon just ended. These days the fans are the only ones who lose out with less games

This game IS NOT a waste of time. It might only be a friendly, we might have half our team missing but the countries pride is at stake. Losing to the Yanks at our own sport that they don't even call by its correct name would just be unbarable.
Beckham is going to be missing despite being suspended for Real Madrid's game. I reckon he got deliberatly booked in that game just like he did against Wales but has now discorved something called common sense and not admitted it.

I fear it will be the same as that friendly against Australia last year when they beat us 3-1 at home at our national sport for the first ever time. SGE never takes these games seriously. Bring back the home international championship as at least they will be competitive

What time does this game kickoff? I am guessing it will be evening sometime over here. Anyone up for meeting in the Orange House to watch it?
