Adebola is crap and he always has been, you need to get yourselves some half decent younger players from the non-leagues or something.

I think spotting talent at the lower levels is prety hard because there are a lot of players around that have been capable of scoring 20 goals a season at their level but when a big club has come in for them they havn't been able to perform in the higher league. At the same time though a number of top stars started to the lower leagues. Stuart Pearce probably the most famous.
As for Adebola well he did nothing for City in his first season and was close to leaving on more than one occasion. But last season he was a different player. He'll never be a 20 goal a season man but he is very good at holding the ball up and is presence can be very useful.
