ten men, for how long in the game? as for Ronaldo, every commentator or pundit that has talked about the game has said that arsenal could not keep ronaldo at bay, he was awesome! Just Man Utd hit the post had several great chances and just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net alot by a great display by J. Lehman the clearance of the line was also frustrating.

Ronaldo is a cheat though as his diving makes him look stupid. How many times does he hold his head when he gets a slight nudge in the shins and goes to ground like he'd been shot.
Arsenal had 10 men for when it mattered most in the penalties. 5 out of 5 is brilliant given the pressure

Aresnal defended well (never thought I'd say that after they played Bolton earlia in the season). Don't forget a goalie is the last line of defence. Ronaldo may have produced some bits of magic just like a 10p machine when £1 comes out but he didn't score or create any goals (won the jackpot) therefore Arsenal kept him at bay.

how can u say 10 men matters most in the penalties. It makes no difference, ecept you may have to alter who takes your pens.
How can anyone say that Arsenal kept Ronaldo at bay, absolutely ridiculous! just because you don't set up any goals, doesn't mean you got kept at bay. He created goal scoring chances, just the players on the end of them missed their opportunity.
Man Utd were v.unlucky and WERE the better team.

Arsenal set out to keep a clean sheet and achieved that. Therefore they kept Man Utd and Skippy Roo at bay regardless of who the better team was.

NO Did he set up any goals? NO Did he act like a big girls blouse and blub in front of the world after a match spent trying to con the referee? ABSOLUTELY Bottom line is Nobody scored in 120 minutes. Arsenal scored 5 penalties to the losers 4 Arsenal have the cup in their trophy cabinet this season Manchester Red Buccaneers have won diddly squat this season. Luck doesn't come into you make your own style in order to win the game and United LOST ;D ;D ;D

The better team lost Have a question for Man Utd fans whose memories go back 6 years. In the 1999 European cup Final Bayern Munich totally dominated and hit the woodwork a few times. Schmeical and his defence made several lucky stops to prevent the final becoming a rout. United hardly had a shot on target in the first 80 minutes. Two set pieces right at the end resulted in 2 goals which won the cup for them. Therefore if Arsenal were lucky to prevail last Saturday then surely United were doubly lucky in the above mentioned game, and yet I can't ever remember anyone moaning how the "better side lost" As usual the Chief tells it like it is ;D
