Oh no way before me that one.
My first cup final I can remember was 1977 when Man Utd beat Liverpool. My actual first one would have been when Sunderland won it

The first FA Cup Final I remember watching was Everton V Man Utd when Everton won 1-0. I think Paul Rideout got the goal. Everton were awsome in the cup that season thrashing Spurs and Norwich on their way to Wembley. Other than the 1987 FA Cup Final that I have no memory off and have only seen on video no cup final I have watched really sticks out as being a classic game for me. The best I can think of was 2001 the first at the Millennium Stadium when Liverpool came back from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 with Micky Owen getting both the goals for Liverpool.

I think Arsenal are a better team than Man Utd player for player but they are also more inconsistant so this could go either way. Current form is on Arsenal's side.

I agree that current form will be the telling factor in this. So an easy easy easy win for the Gooners then ;D

Well it serves Alex Ferguson right. 3 pieces of advice to get on life.
1.) Never trust a cockney 2.) Never trust a GINGER 3.) Never trust a woman
but he still allowed Paul Scholes to take that penalty.
Seriously I have no sympathy what so ever for Paul Scholes because he has walked out on his country even though he wouldn't be an automatic choice in the starting 11 anymore he should still be available.
I only caught the last 30 minutes of normal time but from what I saw Utd had enough chances but couldn't hit a cows butt with a banjo. Noticed Skippy Ronaldo was up to his usual tricks. In the 30 minutes I watched he fell over and won Utd a freekick then fired another freekick way over Johnny Wilkinson style a few minutes later.

I notice Davey and Sherriff Austin are unusually quiet in commenting on the game ;D ;D ;D Probably digging out a pair of Liverpool shirts for Wednesday ;D

Hope they don't though. I don't mind Celtic and Martin O'Neil but I hate Craig Bellamy about 10 times more than I hate Skippy Roo and that is saying something.

One word about yesterday's cup final... VIEEEEEEEEEEIRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAA! When that penalty hit the net, I yelled for joy-not because Arsenal had won the cup, but because Man U had lost it. Was hilarious being in a pub with a load of Man U fans, with myself and five uni friends supporting Arsenal, and simply shouting 'U-S-A!' along with comedy impersonations of American soccer fans at every opportunity-the one that finally caused them to tell us to 'go away' was when Ferdinand 'scored', and to a man the seven of us yelled 'TOUCHDOWN!' and high-fived...

I was bored at work yesterday so when a Plastic Manc came into the stall I decided I would ask him about the game even though I knew most the stuff I was asking him.
Who Won The Cup Final Mate? Really, What Was The Score? What Was The Score On Penaltys? Who Took The First One? Who Missed For Man Utd? So, Does That Mean Utd Aint Won Anything This Season Or Have They Got Anything Else To Play For? Who Put Them Out Of Europe Again?
I was then about to ask him if they had played Norwich yet this season and if they had played any lower division teams. But then his mum came round the corner and told him they had to go. I think he enjoyed talking about football to someone at first but by the time his mum said they had to go he was close to tears. ;D ;D ;D

Man Utd, were by far the better team, penalties is luck and wenger had luck on the day.
Rich how can you say that Ronaldo isn't a quality player when in that game Arsenal just couldn't deal with him.

Rich how can you say that Ronaldo isn't a quality player when in that game Arsenal just couldn't deal with him. Couldn't deal with him LMAO. The scoreline suggest otherwise. 0-0. So they obviously did deal with him. So even with his dirty tricks, such as the one where he went down as if he had injured his head when he was supposivly kicked in the leg, he was still uneffective.

Loved winding up Man Utd fans today with comments about Arsenal deserving the cup as they outplayed United. ;D I think the image of the snivelling crybaby Ronaldo at the end will be the most downloaded this week. Serves him right for his constant diving. Looks like Rooney made a bad choice for sucess seeking too. Bet he wishes he'd hung around for Chelsea now ;D ;D
Ten men, they only needed ten men. ;D
And they didn't even need Thierry Henry to wipe the floor with Utd ;D
