The 2005-06 fixtures were released today. Discuss.
Coventry start at Norwich, don't know where the game will be played though. The first game at the Ricoh Arena should be on August 20th against QPR. They aint Barcelona but I'm sure the game will still bring the same crowd than a friendly with Barcelona would have. And of cause the big two on City's fixture list are on October 22nd away at Leicester and April 17th (think thats a Monday) at home to Leicester.
As for the Premiership the tie of the opening day has to be newly promoted Wigan V champions Chelsea.

That would be a nice draw. Away at Anfield would be nice and hopefully we could snatch a draw and take the game back to the Ricoh Arena.

Manchester Utd V Aston Villa in the second week of the Premiership season.
Or should that be:
The Aston Villas (who give there players free holiday homes) at The Manchester Buccanears in the second round of the EPL Divisional League.

Would Americanising English sport make it better. For example a sending off at half time means they are on the penalty kill for 45 mins and look to score short handed goals

An end of season playoff in football would be cool. I don't mean like the promotion/relegation playoffs we already have I mean a seperate competition like in ice hockey with the top 4 or maybe 8 teams in the Premiership qualifying. It would never happen though because of fixture conjestion. I wouldn't want to get rid of any of the current domestic cup competitions to make way for it.
