...just curious-pick your top five.
Mine are, in no particular order-and this may surprise one or two people:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Lost in Translation Harvey Léon Serendipity
(whoever thought it was funny to add Deepthroat needs to get out more)
I've got a soft spot for most dark love stories as well...no doubt I will keep adding to this as more come to me.
EDIT: forgot Sideways as well...

5) The Evil Dead trilogy 4) The Usual Suspects 3) Pay It Forward 2) American Beauty
and my fave film ever (at the moment) is:
Beyond The Sea a brilliant film that was def worth the 6 month wait!

American Beauty? Hmm...just a little over-rated, that film...although not as over-rated as anything by Michael Moore, which is just plain annoying...

American Beauty is so not over-rated.
Its a brill film with a good plot line. Deserved all the awards it got. Plus loads of people say its rubbish and over rated who haven't even seen it. hmph
Anyways, one i missed off my list (and i dunno how): The Phantom Of The Opera (2004 version) That would probab;y be 3rd or 4th on my list.

I watched American Beauty on the recommendation of a special friend of mine and was pleasantly surprised. Not a watch over and over again but worthwhile. Same friend also dragged me to see the 2nd Bridget Jones film against my wishes. I enjoyed that one too so she obviously knows good films ;D As for Michael Moore if he sticks up for Al Qaeda so much why doesn't he up root to their domain The idiot is a traitor to the western world. His "films" should be on a par with the propaganda drivel from Lord Haw Haw during WWII

Did like 28 days later. Also a good Brit horror/werewolf flick called Dog Soldiers is well worth a view as it totally rocks as a good film
