For the record, for those who somehow didn't hear it either on the radio or live after Blaze's second, the Hokey Lukac goes like this... Left arm in, left arm out In out, in out, shake it all about, You do the Hokey Lukac and you turn around. That's what it's all about. Oh, Super Jozef Lukac... Oh, Super Jozef Lukac... Oh, Super Jozef Lukac... Knees bent, arms stretched, ra, ra, ra... and so on... It did go down quite well, didn't it?  (edit): just had a stroke of genius...for Saturday, to the tune of Yellow Submarine, assuming Blaze don't get thumped as the Panthers go for revenge... Our team's in the Challenge Cup Final The Challenge Cup Final The Challenge Cup Final... and so on to.. Number 3's in the Final....and then through the roster.. And first chant for Cruickshank... I have a feeling the Yellow Submarine one might get an airing or two on Saturday.
The Super Jozef lukac one worked well as we were all in one line. Not sure it will be as effective if we end up in a bunch....so are we doing the same with the tickets?

I don't think any chant can top the great "Hey Big Schlender"
The chants thread is probably lurking on page 2 or 3... but never mind.
I found the "Chants" thread the other day to copy it to the Panthers section of the Elite forum as they were having creative problems

When JD plays Hi Ho Silver lining myself, Carol, Dave & Debbie have taken to singing "And it's we hate Sheffield Steelers everywhere we go" but didn't have any other lines. Jolly good fun though what?

So, do you like the new Andre song then Whiskey? The last line seems to have one too many syllables in it but am liking the theme. Thought the best new one on Sunday was the one which follows the horsey tune for Block 4s own John Dalziel ;D |

Just to cause even more confussion how about another version of Hi Ho Silver Lining. And Its Hi Ho Coventry Blaze We Are The Best Team In England We Know The Rest Aint That Good But I Won't Make A Fuss Cus Its Obvious. Also at the Fife game on Sunday (or possibly even in Cardiff on Thursday) I am going to start of my new chant. Nobody will have a clue why I am chanting it because I don't know myself but just join in because it will be funny. It is ice hockey related in a funny sort of way. Its nice and simple as well.   |

Nah Simmsy only dreams of his "daddy" alarmingly.
In fact have you noticed that although the squealers through out their arguments about Lake, Sample et al most of them wish for the days of the non-Brit friendly ISL.
Stands to reason I suppose. They used to win then.
Maybe a variation on a football chant for them.
"Where were you when you were good"
Pure irony given the dwindling "family"
