Article is awesome... He has got his own song-tell him to pay more attention....cause I'm nowhere near brave enough...  Trouble is, the song tune is Hey Rock and Roll, so he probably just thinks it's part of the normal music, whereas everyone can hear the Andre song (it helps it gets played five or six times a night  If anyone has something for Wade Belak that has an easy tune, then pass it on, and he too will be afforded the honour of his own tune (as will Dan Carlson if I can find an instrumental version of Amore) My hope is for every player to have a song by season's end... |

LOL...i'm not telling him, you tell him i'm not exactly sure how you guys do the songs, or how you make them up. i know he likes banger music (heavy metal) and he has the tattoos to prove it ;D |

Did suggest using the Pink Panther theme for Wade although feedback was somewhat muted.
The version to Hey Rock and Roll seemed to work best, ps the final line is Go Wadey Go -after 3 blasts of hey Wade Belak (clap clap clap)
As per usual we always do have a song/chant for each of the regular players The only one I can think of not having a known one at present is James Pease- that said I had an inspirational moment whilst watching Soccer AM recently- does anyone else watch it who might have had the same thought?

Would a heavy metal lover really appreciate DJ Otzi being played when he scored? If what he wants isn't too heavy, I could always get Graeme to ask him, and he can pick the tune himself-the Player Request segment...and it would stop anyone moaning about the goal music if we told them 'pick by none other than Wade Belak himself-take it up with him' Although, if we're after one for Hey Baby, then here is... 'Hey, Wade Belak...please don't go home....to the NHL' It's awful, I know... |

You got that right ;D I expect better from one half of Team Genius  Other mooted suggestions included another variation on No Limits by 2 Untalented similar to what we tried on the road last year for Frank Evans I even thought of the opening chords of Kylies' Can't get you out of my head- even though I hate that song, or Geno by Dexys Midnight Runners as having simple tunes which should be catchy and able to fit something to. But maybe hold them back for next season For what it's worth I think the Hey Rock and roll version will work if it's sung at various points in the game without the music from the sound box as that version is too ingrained with it's own proper lyrics until the non backed version has a chance to fester |

This one has merits but we already have two Blaze cover versions this year for Andre and Dan. Admittedly the Andre one is the most over of all time at the Skydome and there is no comparison to last years version, but I have noticed that the new version of Dans song doesn't get over quite as good as Rocket Rons did (Not yet anyway) even though there is a comic addition in it
maybe we should poll all the Wade suggestions to see what the peeps think

I think Dans song will definitely be over following the Bison game, it was sung so many times... though its a shame nobody understands the subliminal "DAN!" joke unless they saw the thread on this forum. Whiskey how would you feel about a RAOTW tune for Wade? |
