To be honest i think that's more a ploy to stop people who are trying to make money out of this.
If ebay won't pull the auctions, setting up two fake accounts and bidding obsecnly high amounts at least will stop them going ahead....

I have absolutely no interest in the publicity seeking stunt by all involved. If the artists involved cared about Africa then why don't they write out a cheque rather than gigging in front of huge audiences

I figuered it was people just setting up accounts and bidding that high to stop people buying them.
I know people want to go but no one is gonna pay £1,000,000, or £10,000,000 for a pair of tickets.

Is anyone going to Live8 in London?
I think its obscene that some people are willing to pay £1,000 for a pair of tickets.
If people were selling them a bit more reasonably, I might think about purchasing because if you add up all the ticket prices that you would purchase the see the bands that are on the bill, it would probably cost more in the end!
