Although its only a friendly I am looking forward to watching this game on TV tommorow. I tried to get tickets but I obviously didn't try hard enough . Good to see that Sven is going to experiment with players like Johnson, Downing and Wright-Phillips and it will also be interesting to see how non regulars Wes Brown and Jamie C get on playing along side each other as centre backs. Hopefully we win but I guess the important thing is that we play well, especially the midfielders just so Beckham has that extra bit of preasure on him to motivate him more. Although if being captain of his country doesn't motivate him enough should he be playing at all?

I have heard that Holland will be in a one off black and white shirt. As for the game I don't expect a classic as this is nothing more than an advert for the anti rascism campaign than a serious match

I watched the game, typical friendly really, neither team getting to commited with their tackles. Holland had the best chance when they hit the woodwork. No player really stood out in the England team. Sven's starting line-up did annoy me because although I am happy he gave Wright-Phillips a chance he should have played him on the right and left out Beckham rather than playing both of them. Afterall it was only a friendly and the idea of friendlies is to experiment. It would have been good for them to play without Beckham because that way Sven would have known whether we could cope without him in a competitive game if he ever picked up an injury.

In friendlies like this why did SGE bother with the likes of Beckham, Neville, Gerrard, Cole etc If he doesn't know about these mainstays by now then he is in the wrong job.

What annoys me about Sven is how he always makes sure he picks his so called best players even if it means playing them out of position. Its a good job we don't have two World Class goalkeepers because knowing Sven he would play one of them on the right wing just to give him a game

I know what you mean. With a very easy qualifying group it is worth taking a good look at some of the fringe players who might be able to fill the gaps next summer instead of the jobbing players that always seem to fill up an England squad
