The team that defends the best and conceeds the least amount of goals will win. Must say that despite the summer usually being quite boring due to the lack of football (and ice hockey) I am buzzing at the moment what with Scotland winning yesterday, Womens Euro 2005 kicking off tonight and of course the big game up the Memorial Park this afternoon. Footballs Coming Home.
One question though. In the unlikley event of the two teams being level after the hour will the game go straight to penaltys and if so will it be a normal 5 penalty shootout or sudden death?

Even though i didn't name the team, 'Johnny's Bingo Boys' WON. I believe the score was 9-4.

no offense intended, but really Johnny's Bingo boys' shouldn't have conceded at all.

I think we got bored and it cost us, because we found it too easy.

I thought it was mean't to be 30 minutes each way so we only played the first half. I was all up for playing the second half despite the scoreline but your team bottled it for some reason. As far as I am concerned even though I aint to happy about it we won by default. I would rather have had you guys put 50 passed us though than us winning like that. All very sad I aint going to bother making any subtle digs about why I never picked your best player to play for us. I didn't want to spark of a big post match debate but thought I would tell it like it was in my teams honour.

What happened to the thread about forum football? Who cares anyway. Rematch up the Sow Common or Caludon Park anyone?

I would like someone to put up proper stats, but obviously thats impossible! I am suprised the second match, was that big of a difference! It just shows how good Andy is even in comparison to John and I. I would like to know how many goals I scored on the afternoon.

For the record- Andy was on the winning side in all 3 matches. So no surprise really.
Don't think I scored as I was mainly goalie/sweeper and rarely ventured forward
