I just went onto the Cage forum and was shocked to see that Brian Clough has sadly passed away. He was definately a one off and his like (Although imitated) will never be properly seen again. Who else could take two mediocre sides to the league title and two European cup. (P.S. if any Forest or Derby fans read this by mediocre I don't mean useless I mean unfashionable) The equivalent would be someone taking Coventry City into the Premiership Add to the fact this man always said what was on his mind and did not care about upsetting the establishment. I have read two of his autobiography based books and found both un-put-downable. Godspeed Brian Clough- I raise my glass to you

Just want to say how sad I was to hear about Brian Clough. He isn't only a Forest and Derby legend he is a football legend and he made Nottingham Forest the most successful club team in English footballing history. I am only 18 and don't really remember him being at Forest but I know all about his achievments and I have seen him in interviews where he has made me laugh and showen that he was a top bloke. Football is in mourning and I hope to see a minutes silence at every ground.

Don't know if anybody else has heard this but apparently plans are being made for the road between Derby and Nottingham to be renamed Brain Clough Way. This would be a fitting tribute to a footballing legend who was well liked and respected all around the football world. However, I have to imagine what Cloughie himself would have to say about this if he was still alive. He would probably say something along the lines of "Don't name a road after me when I'm dead, if you like me you will name it after me when I am still alive". What a character he was. Good to see the minutes silence at Highfield Road last night.
