How ridiculous did those posh yobs look yesterday? I have no sympathy for them, and I wish I was down there with a truncheon!
Buckingham Batman has nothing on them for being completely shameless.

So in a time of global unrest, we've no spent coming up to 100 days in parliment, decidicated to banning whether a dog can eat a fox.
It may be cruel, but this entire exercise has been an utter waste of time and money.

The pro-hunt snobs always use the excuse that it's townies that are against hunting, and that they don't see why a fox needs culling. This, in my opinion, is crap........i say this because i come from a small villiage, and i've seen hunts go through this villiage all of my life. I think hunting is barbaric, and i also think that it should be banned. If foxes need culling, then hire a professional, and don't just let the dogs rip the poor thing to shreds.

Interesting thread. Hunting is cruel no doubt about that however, lots of things are going on in the World that are more barbaric than hunting.
Going off topic a bit but I saw the rioting on TV the other day from the Pro Hunt demonstrators and when some of them broke into parliment. Thats very worrying as what if them men had been terrorist and had weapons on them. Sorry if you think I am going a bit over the top. Also after seeing some of the rioting on telly I wonder whether some of them pro hunt demonstrators are actually bothered about hunting or whether they are just yobs that like getting into punch-ups.

Tricky one this. Nobody would disagree that poor old Basil Brush gets a tough time in the "regulated" hunts for peeps with no chin (From centuries of in breeding!), however I feel that some of the animals rights groups would wish for this to be only stage one and want a ban on (In no particular order)
Fishing Hore Racing Greyhound Racing Circuses Dog shows (And other animal types)
Where would it all end.
For those country folk who would miss out on their "thrill" I have a suggestion; Why don't they all meet up and put all their names into a hat. They then pull out one name and give him 5 minutes to start running (10 minutes for a girl ;D). Then they can chase him with Rottweilers Pit Bulls et al and still get their fun

i go to a agricutural college and 1 of my mates there lives on a farm he doesn't let fox hunters on it because he says they are more of a problem than foxes ever are and if there ever a need to kill a fox he would shoot it as theres no need to be cruel to it i quite agree and also the college is full of snobby equine people who support fox hunting and come from the background where they ain't use to being told they can't do things maybe they should start picking on things that can fight back. i am also orignially from the isle of wight where there wasn't any foxes till they brought them over for hunting they wiped them out so they brought more over .......go figure besides where were all these pro hunt people when the miners were on strike .......rant over

I would be interested to know if anyone has actually seen a live hunt or even (God forbid) taken part to qualify why the pro-lobbyists are so up in arms about it

On a related theme I see that only 50 protesters were at Brandon Stadium yesterday to call for a ban on greyhound racing. Due to the money involved there is no way a ban for this would ever get through parliament but it is things like this that do the anti-fox hunting brigade more damage. If they just concentrated on the fact that the foxes get killed brutally and didn't try to save every single animal on the planet from what they think is cruel they might get a lot of the undicided on their side. Fox hunting BAN it Greyhounds, horses, fishing etc KEEp it
