Block 2 Posse!

Thanks to everyone who voted that the Block 2 Posse website is looking better, the Posse and myself have been working pretty hard on it recently coming up with new ideas for the upcoming season, so thankyou again. We have lots more ideas for the site and you'll see them go up within the next few weeks, so please do keep checking back.

Just to let you all know, after day 2 of the B2P's weekly-poll this is how it all stands:

Shudra 1

If you don't think Super Cooper is the Blaze's all time greatest player, please get on the Block 2 Posse website and get voting.

Now that's all out the way, just wondering what everyone thinks we could write on a massive England flag that we have bought for the back of block 2/away games? I know the Massive used to have 'Block 15 Massive' on there's. Other than Block 2 Posse what could go on this new one? Anyone got any ideas?

Davey Boy came up with some good ideas for the site, Fight of the week, ref of the week, quote of the week (From the Posse) just to name a few. Thanks to 'The' Rich for the idea of having a weekly-poll, that's looking a fairly popular idea at the minute. Does anyone else have anymore ideas for the site, as if there isn't plenty already

One last thing, does anyone have any information on where the Posse will be standing next season, is the plan still going ahead for us to be above the vending machines? I'm just thinking the back of block 2 may well be crammed this season, so we need a bit more space?

u could have a section for junior match reports of course i would be willing to do some of them like on my team.

and u could have a poll every week for player of the week.

just start adding songs and chants asap.

but other than that i think u have done alright on the new look and new things on the site well done.

The website is looking fantastic. Well done John. The poll was a great idea by me but seriously if it wasn't for John there wouldn't be a B2P website so nice one mate.

I won't say who I voted for on the poll until the end of the week although I think I may have mentioned it on another thread. It was very hard to vote though because different players were great for different reasons and some players on there were great throughout their careers but by the time they had arrived at Blaze were probably passed their best although still great for us.

I like Davey_boy's ideas on "Fight Of The Week", "Ref Of The Week" and "Quote Of The Week From The Posse".

As for next season hopefully we will be in Block 2 still although I doubt we will be allowed to stand up behind the back row. We will just have to stand up on the back row. One thing that I hate though is when we have to keep standing up then sitting down again. I would prefer to either sit for the whole game or stand for the whole game (preferably stand) rather than being up and down like a yo yo.

A few points

Is that definate about the Sheffield challemge as it's the day before Frenchies testimonial?

As for the flag sometimes the simplist ideas work the best so how about the Blaze symbol emblazoned (Pun intended) over the centre.

Also how about a running top ten of Blaze players, each week they get a rating between 1 and 15 as to whom was the best that week with the points being cumulated to get a roster based league table

Also the absolute best idea if anyone has the time and patience to organise it would be an Eliite Leagiue Fantasy league where we all select our dream rosters and then accrue points each week

I'm liking this idea Whiskey. How many people would be intrested if we were to get this Fantasy League going? I'll do it, if 5 or more people are intrested.

I think maybe if a few flyers can be distributed whilst the 4 challenge games are on. I wold enlist PW & James for their in depth knowledge of the rosters to weight the points per team. But I definately think that the idea has legs

The link is on the homepage, i've been looking for a half decent button for it. It was originally just a boring old text box.

When are you going to contribute some ideas towards to the Block 2 Posse, instead of just complaining about everything. When the poll was up regarding the new-look website, all you had to say for it was "I don't care" when everyone else was being positive. Today your having a little dig about there not being a link to the forum on the site-just cheer up a little will ya.
