Just heard the sad news that actor Marlon Brando died yesterday at the age of 80.
Marlon was a great actor and its a sad loss to the movie industry.

I believe he had been ill for many years and became somewhat reclusive.
Have to fess up that I haven't really watched any of his pictures although might watch the Godfather series as my dad has the set on dvd

The Godfather Triolgy is a brilliant set of movies and well worth watching.
Marlon had been ill for many years and had had a hard life but he had still been acting up until about 2002 and was going to star in a new film but unfortunatly never got chance to.

The Godfather Trilogy is quality and his part in the movies was excellent as well.
He did have a lot of problems, including debts of around £11m and living of social security.
A big loss to the industry.
