MEDIA RELEASE FROM THE GREAT BRITAIN ICE HOCKEY TEAM
BBC Radio to cover GB games during Euro Challenge Tournament
Ice Hockey UK are delighted to confirm that BBC Coventry & Warwickshire radio will be resuming their role as the official broadcast partner of the Great Britain ice hockey team when the team competes in the Mont Blanc Euro Challenge tournament in February.
BBC presenter Geoff Foster will travel with them team and will bring listeners full, live and uninterrupted commentary of all three of the team’s games against Lithuania, Norway and France.
Great Britain’s Media Manager, Dave Simms will be joining Geoff in the commentary box for the games, which are taking place at Morzine, Courchevel, and Meribel in the French Alps. During the programmes they will also be providing exclusive interviews with players and officials from the GB camp.
All three broadcasts will be available anywhere in the world through the BBC Coventry & Warwickshire website. To listen in, just go to www.bbc.co.uk/coventry and click on the link to the commentary.

Great Britain v Lithuania from Morzine. On air from 19.55 to 23.00. Face off at 20.00.
