I don't see how a show as poor as it was though, will attract casual fans. Once the game between Sheffield and Nottingham started, there was no reason for me to watch the show.

i cant comment on th start of the show as i missed it up untill the game had started!! but some people love hockey and will watch it for this reason, others might want to see how other teams are playing or if they play a different way against different teams!!
i for one had no interest in speedway and had passed judgement without even watching it and would always flick past it whenn on tv!! but one day i kept it on i dont know why but i now understand and really enjoy it!! maybe this could happen with the ice hockey programme?? then again maybe not?? im not saying that puttnng it on sky will help it grow as a sport in the uk but there will be people who will keep it on out of minor interest or because there nothhing else on the sports channels involving a goal ;D
but at the end of the day its a little extra hockey in my week which im greatful for!!

Any coverage is good coverage for the league, why not have sky backing us?

I get the feeling Sky are losing interest as the weekly game regularly gets shuffled around the schedules
