I don't know if anybody knows the latest situation regarding Paul Berrington who got injured whilst playing for the now defunct London racers against the Blaze?
There were postings flying around other forums that he'd gotten into some sort of administrative difficulty and was threatened with eviction due financial worries as a result of not being insured.
Various parties are being offered up for blame including the EIHL, the now defunct Racers and even their owner the controversial Roger Black.


Any constructive comments?

Is this Roger Black the same one that was a sprinter in the 400m or is it someone completely different.

I'v wanted to ask that same question for ages. Finnally somebody else has asked it for me

I'm prety sure that it isn't the same guy who won an Olympic silver medal in 1996, just somebody who happens to have the same name. Its just like the guy who goes round eating people in that film having the same name as Hannibal from the A-Team. It can really confuse people.

Some people may have heard the name previously following some sort of rumoured incident at Basingstoke which according to some reports at the time may have involved a disabled Bison supporter getting injured. Not sure as to the final outcome of that particular incident but that may where the name seems familiar from.
