The Star Sheffield Steelers regret to announce that they have parted company with Head Coach Paul Heavey.
The agreement is by mutual consent and comes about after both sides could not agree the terms of a permanent contract for Paul Heavey to coach the club
Bob Phillips said "We are of course disappointed that both sides have come to this conclusion, we thank Paul for his great efforts over the past few months, I am sure Paul will soon find himself coaching again and everyone at the club wishes him all the best for the future"
Paul Heavey commented "It’s a Sad day and I am of course disappointed, especially as results seemed to be turning around. I wish the players, staff and of course the Steelers fans all the very best for the future".
bad new for the steelers, will be interesting to see who they bring in
