I didn't see the incident myself so can't really vote in the poll, but it obviously must have been bad for him to get 8 games. The Elite League really have to have a minimum set ban for any player that commits that sort of offence.

I didnt see what happened but an 8 match ban seems adequate comparing it to how they punish similiar events in the NHL.

8 matches will soon come and go. In fact he will be back before Hutch which is some sort of hollow irony

To be fair though I think the injury keeping Hutch out is a new injury not linked to the attack by Angelstad.

I am actually looking forward to the next Blaze V Newcastle game, providing Angelstad is back from his suspension because the guy is going to get more stick off the fans than any other player in history. Even Jeff Christian.
