Apparently, in his webcast last night Mr Simms made some fairly inflammatory comments about the BNL, and their lack of crowd relating to the EIHL-another case of foot-in-mouth?
Although he also made the comment that John D had a 'gay' haircut and I was his boyfriend live on air, on several occasions, which would not only surprise me, but also John, the majority of the Skydome and the (few) girlfriends I've had...aside from the whole issue of making homophobic or libellous comments on air, which I leave to others to debate-have already said my piece on the Steelers forum, in the game thread...
On a personal note-met Big Dave Steeler in the Orange House before the game (unfortunately all too briefly) and it was a great pleasure-look forward to meeting you again next time the Steelers meet us...

just got to ask this as i am a bit puzzled.......
on saturday in the house of steel, the ceremonial puck drop was performed by a steeler fan who is emigrating to New Zealand........i just wanted to ask, is that where the rest of the steeler fans have gone too? i only ask as Dave Simms made the remark about poor attendance in BNL rinks. i mean its not as if the steelers are anywhere near selling out for any game nowadays is it?
i just want to know where the difference is?

I have to be honest, im dissapointed the B2P was not in the orange house yesterday, would have been fun im sure ;D Dude I wanted to meet ya yesterday but I was in Alton Towers and I had to rush back to get to ice hockey. Ya could have always come over to us in the break or something.... oh well, maybe next time. I'll try and get to the Orange House. |

Funny you should say that I was down at the bottom of block 2 in the 2nd interval, with one my cov mates, so I did come over to ya, just dint want to talk to ya  Maybe next time eh!! |

Word is that he always calls Dion by his surname ;D And about the talk of poor attendances in the BNL- tell me who is synonomous with falling attendances in the Elite league these days, Before long 2004 won't be just the last time they won something but their average attendance too |
