After much editing, the topic returns...sorry on the off-chance I offended anyone. Somehow.
"It's the middle of a long hot summer, but hockey still lives in the shape of the Coventry Chaos. This Sunday sees them take on the Peterborough Rink Rats at the Skydome, starting at the slightly more family-friendly time of 7pm. You're welcome to watch. We may not have contracts, but we can play hockey with the best of them..."

Much to the pleasure of some, no doubt-we lost 8-1 on goals, but won 4-1 on fights...I managed to avoid getting walloped although did check their number 10 a beauty-which led to him getting more and more wound up through the game and eventually getting destroyed... We play next down in Oxford next Saturday, starting at 5 pm, if anyone is mad enough to make the trip.. . Perhaps easier to reach is Chaos' next home game, which is in a week-and-a-half: August 14th vs Solihull Vipers in our fourth defence of the A45 Challenge Cup-after our win at the Solihull Tournament the Vipers will be up for revenge. Face-off, once again, is at 7 pm. There was a good corwd on Sunday, so if we could repeat that then it would drive the lads on to play even more full-on hockey-myself included. Thanks to all who came, and you're welcome to come again to hopefully see us win
