Bob Phillips and the shareholders of Arena Sports Limited are pleased to announce they have facilitated the purchase of the Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey Club.
When it became apparent that the Sheffield Steelers I.H.C. was to be sold by its owner, and as the associate directors of that club were unable to facilitate purchase themselves at this time, Bob Phillips and the shareholders of Arena Sports Limited stepped forward to secure the future of the Sheffield Steelers I.H.C. at the top level of British Ice Hockey and for the benefit of British Ice Hockey in general.
The present associate directors and fans of the Sheffield Steelers I.H.C. will maintain the day to day running of the club with the assistance of the Arena Sports management team. Arena Sports Limited has every confidence in the ability of those associate directors to maintain the financial stability of their club and will be available on a consultative basis as and when required.
It is imperative that the fans from both clubs, The Cardiff Devils and The Sheffield Steelers are fully appraised of the reasons for this purchase and are assured of the total lack of any conflict of interest. To that end Bob Phillips and the shareholders of Arena Sports Limited are holding fans forums in both Cardiff and Sheffield at the earliest opportunity to answer their questions.

Hope he kept the receipt.
I have mixed feelings about this.
Picture the scene Squealers need to win their last game of the season against Cardiff to become champions. Devils are safe in say 4th position and cannot go up or down. Will pressure come to bear. With certain people involved the finger would get pointed
