Good move as far as I can see for reasons mentioned elsewhere. It is no point making the top flight untenable just for the sake of it. Doesn't mean the end- just look at Manchester

Its a shame to think that all those teams will be without a league. Dundee have great fans, Fife have cool fans that did the congo round the Sky Dome and it would have been good to renew our legendary rivalry with the Flames. I mean the rivalry where they don't like us and we beat them. The Elite League is going to be great next season though with the new teams that are coming in and as far as I am concerned winning the 10 team league next season will feel even better than winning the 7 team league this season.
I sound more arrogant than Jose Mourinho ;D

I saw this posted on the Elite Forum, but there's been no official announcement about it has there? It's still speculation at the moment isn't it?

I think the Elite League are punishing them for not showing any interest in the Elite League origionally.

Yeh but Newcastle and Edinburgh said last season they were going to join the Elite League. The other three have only shown interest in it over the past few weeks now they have realised the BNL has gone to pot and that they might not have a league to play in next season.

Looks like Guildford will be going down the same road as Hull and Bracknell in seeing the options available in the EPL. Dundee and Fife are making noises about a brand new league

Dundee and Fife are making noises about a brand new league Apparently it's going to consist of teams from England and Scotland. Maybe such teams as Paisley, Blackburn and maybe even the Sheffield Scimitars??

Sounds kind of like the rest of the teams north of the EPL boundary

Let's just hope they all get themselves a league to play in next season. It would be terrible if all those teams had nothing for next season.
