This is how it SHOULD be.
10 Team League play everyone 4 times. That would equal 44 games.
The Challange Cup should be SEPERATE to the league as in non of this games counting towards two competitions nonsense. There should be two groups of 5 teams where teams play everyone in there group twice. The groups should be split North and South.
North: Belfast, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield. South: Nottingham, Coventry, Cardiff, Basingstoke, London.
The top two teams in each group should then make the knockout stages with the finals and semi finals both being two legs.
The top 8 teams in the league should make the playoffs with them having two groups of 8, playing each team twice and the finals weekend as usual.
Less league games would mean the season would finnish slightly early which would be great news for the GB team as they would have more time to prepare for the World Championships.
I hope the EIHL read this.

could work. i like the idea od the 2 groups ( north and south) but if london fold that could mess it all up
