Bracknell have folded this morning, John nike has pulled out of hockey after 20 years. Rumours flying around that Guildford and Hull are about to make annouments soon as well...  |

Does leave the door open saying that he is willing to sell the club, but realistically if it wasn't relaisitc for a person quite frankly as rich as John Nike to run an EIHL team out of Bracknell it doesn't bode well at all..

Looks as if Bracknell have quickly got their act together... looks as if they will be playing EPL hockey next season.

never has the term 'you win some you lose some' been more apt. just goes to show how fragile non-mainstream sport is in this country: ice hockey, basketball (poor old bullets), rugby, non-premier football (!!), cricket... you name it, if its not getting television money then the books are tight what can we do.....?   |
