OK, I think we need to save Ashley Tait, so I suggest we move him to Pavol's number 5 slot. I would also match up some players with their numbers so its easier to remember. Here is my proposed final version:

For what it's worth I think this version is just about spot on. I await your santa hats although I will have to wait and see if I brave the santa costume again this year as it was rather cold last year. Everybody should be wearing a santa hat on the 19th December though..no excuses!

I'd agree with that. Mihalik isn't a long enough word for the 5th position, although it would be funny to hear everyone trying to sing it. It is hard enough normally let alone trying to make it last across 2 sylables.

Sadly, I don't think it will ever be as good as the Samelsson/ Soderstrom and Captain called Frenchie years ...... it just worked perfectly. A Blaze legend called Andre doesn't quite work as well.

It's about right but when the following is done there are a lot of words to get in;

When singing it in my head (Not out loud ) something doesn;t quite seem right.

not sure which will work better;
1. Thommo instead of Paul Thompson
2. A legend called instead of a Blaze legend called

Personally I would prefer option 1 which would go as follows;

On the first day of Christmas Thommo gave to me (Pause) A Blaze legend called Andre

The Andre bit is fine, we can't go tampering with it forever or we'll never get to sing it.

I think that version is the best, Paul Thompson is too long for my liking.

Viz-a-viz the Andre one I notice that from last years version "Won in" holds the same note as "called" hence the extra syllable.

Okey dokey karaoke If everyone is happyish with the order I will get a few printed off and if any others can do the same (Say about 10 each) we should be able to get them dispersed wherever.

I also recall that in the fist Skydome those that did Version 1.0 performed it on the ice in a period break although myself and the rest bottled out when it was muted last year for version 2.0 ;D
