If your not heading out to Belfast this weekend with the blaze and fancy getting a hockey fix, then come down to the Skydome on Saturday afternoon to watch the Coventry Phoenix take on the Peterbourgh Penguins. Phoenix have recently picked up their 2nd win of the year and will be looking to avenge their 5-1 defeat at the hands of the Penguins earlier on in the season.
Peterbourgh currently lie on the bottom of the table so it should be an entertaining, competitive game of hockey. Face off is at 4:15pm.
After the Phoenix at 6pm the Under 19 Blaze continue their quest for the playoff’s and need to avoid a slip up to Nottingham B. At the NIC earlier this season Blaze won 6-1 and will be hoping for a repeat performance.
So if your not going to Belfast come down to the Skydome for what should be two excellent competitive games.

Even though I was in Belfast this weekend I heard the Phoenix won. A successful weekend for Coventry Hockey for the men and womens teams and under 19's |

Saturday 12th March: Coventry Phoenix 8 - 2 Peterbourgh Penguins Sunday 13th March: After 20 minutes: Basingstoke Bears 4 - 0 Coventry Phoenix At the end of the game: Basingstoke Bears 5 - 6 Coventry Phoenix ;D ;D |

yeh well done, shame i couldnt make it but (for once!) my competing went well so i didnt get back in time. Will be coming to a game soon though.

The girls are now up to 7th in the league out of 11 teams...
We actually do have an annoucment which will be going out properly, but i suppose i could do it first on this forum...
After the Blaze season/EPL Finals.... The Phoenix are at home in the league every Sunday night for a month.

Sunday 1st May vs Oxford University Blues (10th)
Sunday 8th May vs Streatham Storm (2nd)
Sunday 15th May vs Oxford City Zodiacs (4th)
All League games so everything to play for against a rapidly improving Phoenix team and it would be great to see as many of you down there as possible.
All games free admission, and they all start at 6pm ;D

Sounds like the Phoenix are improving all the time. I will deffinatly make a game or two once Blaze season is over. Afterall hockey is hockey, men or women, senior or junior.
