Bracknell clinched the British National League title last night. Why didn't anyone tell me? On the anniversery of when Blaze clinched that same title too

Seriously it shows what a fantastic and entertaining league the Elite League is compared to the BNL when the Elite League looks like it will be decided on the last weekend of the season while the BNL has already been decided.

Made me laugh when I read on the Hockey Forum about someone trying to compare the Bees 2004/5 to the Blaze 2002/3 stating that the Bees ran away with the league whereas Blaze and Stars were neck and neck until almost near the end.

We lost far fewer games in a league with 3 extra teams.
And in essence had "won" the title after that 6-4 match up in Dundee at Christmas. All we were doing after that was counting down the weeks until Dundee ran out of matches to mathematically be sure
