Devils Coach Dave Whistle launched a scathing attack on his players,
“The way the team played I think they went home in the second and third period and I think if they play like that one or two more times a couple will be going home.”
“You just can’t have it and this is the time of year when I’ll make changes whether it’s one, two or three players it doesn’t bother me. I’m here to coach a team that wants to go out there and win and that’s for sixty minutes and we definitely don’t have every guy in there working to win as much as some of the other players in our team we really don’t and right from our goal tending up they’d better pick up their socks.”
“That second and third period should tell them all without me having to say a word to them. Just because we’re sitting where we are doesn’t mean that one player’s job is safe.”
We may have the bragging rights over Cardiff right now after our 7-1 thrashing of them ;D but lets not forgot they still top the table so My Whistle must be doing something right.

It is also worth pointing out that we had one of those nights where the bounces went our way and the opposite for the Devils. As pointed out the Devils are not top of the league for nothing and are still a very dangerous side to play against
