Surely the only available goalies at this point in the season will be those least sought-after by other teams, and, well, not that good?! Anyone remember Bronsard last season? Class goalie signed by Sheffield at round this sort of time when Dopson decided to leave. There are more than likely many class goalies to be found, and as has been mentioned if they are really short Pasi Raitenen would be a very good stop gap |

I think the difference will be in whom is trying to recruit as Blaisdell had a good knack of getting these type of guys mid season. Maxwells pedigree is as yet unproven in this field

Of course there are exceptions, but I mean generally, a top goalie will be hard to find at this stage. |
