Elite League poised for major announcement.
The Elite Ice Hockey League are in the process of finalising a major announcement for next Monday – November 8th.
Representatives of the Elite League have been in top-level talks and negotiations over recent days and League Chairman Eamon Convery speaking late on Friday evening said, “The past two days have been extremely rewarding and we are very excited about the announcement we will make on Monday. We have one or two final matters to complete on negotiations that will further project the Elite League and ice hockey in this country to new levels.
The Elite League respectfully requests Sports Editors to reserve space on Monday for coverage of this major new initiative.

Perhaps the merger between the Elite League and BNL is finnally going to happen. Or it could just be that every Elite League team is going to be given a game against Romford Raiders once a season
