I read today that Joe Watkins was released by Colorado Eagles and now finds himself without a team.
Wonder;
A. Where he'll end up
B. How long before someone claims he's on his way to join his brother

Hmm not sure you can actually have two goalies minding the net at once ;D
The worst part about it is that the Anti-Jody brigade now have a champion for their cause which will result in crowd reaction being split.
I'll say it again Jody is our goalie. Let's get behind the guy

I know but it's not like a d-man or forward as the goalies are real confidence based guys (Jody in particular) I just wonder how much of the negativity toward him results in lack of concentration at times or if he tries to overdo the simple things in an effort to show his detractors that he is the player we know he can be |

It does not matter if you like him or not when he pulls on that Blaze shirt everybody should get behind him people were quick enough to chant his name when he scored B2P Steve is right Jody plays on confidence so lets give it to him,  |

People aren't gonna get behind a player they don't particualy like though.
I weren't there whe n he scored but i wouldn't have chanted. And i never have chanted for him.
Just cause he plays for the team i like doesn't mean i support him as an individual player

So Steph, how would you have reacted if you had been there when Jody scored? You might not rate Jody and thats fair enough but if you want the Blaze to win surely you should at least clap any player when they do something good.

I must admit, that last season, Jody cost us points with his little 'wanders' out of goal. When I fisrt heard the rumour that Sundberg was on his way here I thought fantastic, a decent man between the pipes! And I had the same reaction when I read about Joe Watkins in the summer. I am not the biggest Jody fan, however, and it's a big however. The man has turned in some decent performances so far this season and seems a lot sharper and a lot more interested than last year. While he is here he will recieve my support, as will all the players on the team. Lets get behind them!
