Steve Gallace was today thrown out during the Vipers 4-1 defeat by Steelers. Didn't see that one coming

Wouldn't worry it wasn't for fighting or any rough stuff, he got 2 mins for holding and then got 10 + 10 for abuse of an official. He apparently went skating after the ref wanting to hit him Sounds like it was a silly thing to do as Vipers were 2-1 down at the time and still in with a chance. Final score of 4-1 flattered Steelers as the last 2 were empty net goals. Hilton apparently hit the post at 2-1 down.

You don't think he was trying to miss next weeks return to the Skydome do ya ;D Would you blame him if he was??? lol put yourself in his shoes for a second.............do you think he is looking forward to coming back here, or do you reckon he knows that we didn't really think too much of him and he is expecting somewhat of a warm welcome back??

To be honest I really don't believe he thinks his reception back will be as bad as some are predicting.
If I was in his shoes I would be thinking "I top scored for them last year surely they will be appeciative"
For the record I will not boo him as I don't believe in dishing out that sort of stuff to anyone who ever pulled on a Blaze shirt and tried for the club- no matter what limitations others percieve him to have

My view on Gallace is I was glad to see him go because we needed better imports in order for the team to move in the right direction, however, he did his bit when he was here, scored a fair few points (even though most of them came in December and January) and can take credit for our high league position last season (although what was he doing during the playoffs). I can't see myself booing him but whether he gets a standing ovation, a clap or just ignored by me will be largly down to how he reacts to our fans.

I never even considered any boos for Gallace, he only let himself down at the end of last season, and he worked wonders for us at the start of the season to get us at the right end of the season. Move over Andre Payette, your tune's going to Gallace this Sunday.

It would be nice to have all four of the old players' songs given one more airing in the Skydome
