This Sunday (15th August) the Coventry Phoenix are playing their final warm-up game before entering the English Women's Div 1 South this season, and it's another Coventry/Sheffield battle as the visitors are the Sheffield Shadows B side, who play in the northern section of the same division. Previous games at the Skydome have been well-attended, with 250 people coming to the inaugural game, and around 150 to the second (a game the Phoenix weren't expecting to win against the Premier League Flintshire Furies). The girls play with at least as much passion as the Blaze (most would say even more) and want to add a new chapter to the Cov/Sheff rivalry-so come and watch and cheer them on! Face-off is at 5:30 pm, with the event starting around 5 pm with a Blaze-like build-up. Admission is free, so what have you got to lose?
