Thought this might be of intrest with the amount of players coming to the EIHL from one of these teams...especially us with carlson...

The ECHL announced on Tuesday that the Board of Governors has voted to terminate the memberships of the Greensboro Generals and Roanoke Express effective immediately. All Greensboro and Roanoke players, who have either received a qualifying offer or have executed a standard player contract, will immediately become unrestricted free agents.
The termination of the Greensboro membership comes as a result of the Generals being unable to put a suitable ownership group in place to operate the membership in 2004-05, while the termination of the Roanoke membership comes as a result of the Express ownership group being unable to continue to operate the membership in 2004-05
Now i wonder if we will see a lot more players from these teams in the next few weeks
