If any of you are feeling a bit starved of hockey now that even the NHL has finished, and fancy getting behind a Coventry team, the Chaos are travelling up to Sheffield (the IceSheffield arena, not the big one) to play in the Sheffield Summer Tournament this Saturday-3 games vs the Sheffield Blazers A and B sides and the Solihull Vipers, with the tournament starting around 11:00 am, and continuing right through the day. Entry is free, so come up and roar us on! If you can't make that, the week after we play a little closer to home vs the Solihull Wolves at Hobs Moat Road in Solihull, before taking on the MK Jesters at the Skydome on the Sunday (f/o times 6 pm and 7:30 pm respectively) There's also an away game vs MK Jesters on the 31st July, starting at 5:15 pm, and the 'Coventry Challenge' planned as the Chaos will take on the Coventry Phoenix to see which team earns bragging rights at the Skydome...more details when it happens!

sounds good!
i won't be able to go to Sheffield as i am in Manchester for a Christening on the same day, but i'll definately try and make the rest as hockey is hockey at the end of the day, and i'm sure other people will agree with me when i say that this summer has dragged on too long!!

Sorry it's so late, but we've only just found out that the Wolves would rather have the face-off at half-five....which gives you all...oh, about an hour and a half to get there.. By the way, the Chaos finished second in the Sheffield Tournament, beating the Sheffield Blazers B side 7-3, the Solihull Vipers 5-3, and then, having qualified for the final, losing 2-0 and 5-3 to the defending champions, the Sheffield Blazers A side, with James Galazzi winning forward of the tournament for us... Now for this weekend!

Well, we came, we saw, and we lost-the Chaos losing 13-10 to the Solihull Wolves after putting up one hell of a fight (including me finally breaking my goalscoring duck after 27 scoreless games)-next home game is now Aug 8th v Milton Keynes...f/o time to come when we know for definite what it is...

We now know the face-off time-it's 7:30 pm this Sunday. Also, the Coventry Phoenix are back in action vs the Sheffield Shadows B side on Sunday 15th August (face-off 5.15). Come along-you'll definitely be pleasantly surprised...
