Rocky III

Well its on BBC1 tonight. I have seen it loads of times as I have recorded all of the Rocky films except for the first one, which I brought on video. It is a great film though. They all are. Rocky III and IV are probably my two favourites though.

Basically what happens in Rocky III is that Rocky loses his title to Clubber Lang (played by Mr T). Then his manager dies and Rocky loses the plot. But his old opponant Apollo Creed turns up wanting to help him win his title back. I won't give away what happens just incase anyone who hasn't seen the film reads this and decides to watch it tonight.

It also has a very good soundtrack and a funny bit near the start, which involves Rocky being in a charity match with Thunderlips (the character played by Hulk Hogan)

I love this flick in fact I love the first 4 Rocky movies. Number 5 was a bit of a let down

This one is brilliant. Incidentally had Hogan not been in this chances are the MacMahons wouldn't have enticed him away from the old AWA and kick started the lucrative Rock 'n Wrestling sports entertainment franchise that sprung from it.

Yeah I think that film made Hulk Hogan and made WWE.

Rocky IV is on next week. Such an inspiring film.

Rocky IV was brilliant at the time, but kind of looks a bit cheesy these days due to the out of date politics.
Nice to see a younger version of Brigitte Nielsen though

Is it just me or are Wade Belak and Ivan Drago two more people for the look alike club?

They're about as alike as the other Rich and PW surely ;D

Surely someone with the know how can doctor a pic of Rocky IV with Wades features on it to see the difference...or lack of it
