Has anyone seen this film? It is an early film starring Mike Myers. He plays a Canadian/Scotsman and also double acts as his father, who is probably my favourite character ever! Myers, unlike most "actors" can do a great Scottish accent, and passes off as local when he visits Scotland. On one occassion he sat in a pub with older men complaining about the amount of foreigners and tourists! That aside, the film is great with brilliant quotes (for one, look down ) and is amongst my top five ever!

I think I watched that film round my mates house a while ago. Is that the one where the guy is afraid to settle down in a relationship and always finds excuses to dump his women. And everyone thinks he is mad when he starts saying his financee is an axe murderer?

I still think it's class, Mike Myers is brilliant, and like i said before, there are few who can do a convincing Scottish accent, but he pulls it off

Wasn't Mike Myers born in Liverpool or something like that No, he is from Toronto through and through. His parents were both Liverpudlian and spoke the accent in the house, but all three boys were born in Canada, Myers made several trips to Merseyside. He also had a best friend growing up who was from Kirkcaldy! Claim to fame! Interesting fact is that his two brothers were both encouraged by their parents to follow comedy as they were seen to be very funny, but Mike was ignored in that sense and told that he wasn't funny!

However Mike Myers was very good at a plethora of accents in the Austin Powers series
