As far as I know the NYFD dvd is the only recorded footage of the first plane hitting the tower. To date this is still the most chilling piece of film I have ever viewed

The one i recorded off the TV is: "French filmmakers Jules and Gedeon Naudet, were filming a documentary about a 'typical' New York firefighter on the fateful day September 11th 2001 when two planes hit the World Trade Centre. The brothers were able to film the courageous actions of the firefighters as they went about their business in the lobby of Tower One." The DVD i've got is: "24 HOURS FROM GROUND ZERO is an extraordinary inside look at the evolution of the World Trade Center horror, experienced through the eyes and the voices of people at the scene who were among the first to arrive at ground zero. `24 Hours at Ground Zero` begins with the barrage of attacks over the first critical hour, then focuses on search and rescue efforts, and ends up with sunrise over New York the following morning. You`ll see this titanic tragedy from eye-level, along with the people who lived through it. 7 DAYS IN SEPTEMBER is a raw, rare human look at the events of 9-11 and the week that follows. The film portrays the attack of the World Trade Center in New York City, and the aftermath in a unique and bold manner. This personal drama of the city`s trauma seen through the eyes, and the cameras, of 27 New Yorkers. New York`s filmmakers, professional and amateur alike, who hit the streets at the first moment of the attack. As a result of never-before-seen footage at `Ground Zero` the film is able to convey the terrorist attacks in the most intimate and exclusive way possible. AMERICA REBUILDS: A YEAR AT GROUND ZERO Narrated by Oscar Winning Actor Kevin Spacey is an emotional and compelling portrait of the process towards recovery and reconstruction of the World Trade Center disaster after the rubble that is Ground Zero. `AMERICA REBUILDS: A Year at Ground Zero` tells the stories of construction workers, firemen, and ironworkers who had to endure the horror and sadness of this incredible scene of destruction and death over eight months." They are both very good but are tough to watch.

The first one is the one I have, It is very chilling and almost Hollywood esque, so much so that you do have to keep remind yourself that the events unfolding are real
