Did anyone watch the reconstruction of what happened on-board one of the flights that struck the Twin Towers, it was on Channel 5 at 10pm tonight?
I thought it was a really good programme, very accurate. They used the actual audio which was used on the day of the tragedy, where necessary.

Wonder if it'll be repeated.

I watched it, thought it was really good as well. It annoyed me though when they were doing the readings from the hijackers notes, the fact that the hijackers actually convinced themselves they were doing it for God etc. and what they were doing was right.

I know what you mean, it's really stupid. I had no idea about half the things that happened during that day. For e.g i had no idea the hijackers all locked themselves in the cockpit, tried to contact the other passengers on-board (but actually sent the message down to ground control) It's true that the staff on-board were heros, as they got as much info as possible down to the ground before the plane struck the tower, and kept all the passengers calm.

Totally agree. I despise this kind of broadcasting where they try to see everyones point of view. That said it was a good drama

I missed it but I remember seeing a program that sounds similar to this a few years ago about the 4th plane that crashed.

The other one. The fourth one that some people say was shot down. Thats never been proven though.

Not heard that theory.
The Pentagon "crash" interests me more though
Seen all but the last 5 mins of the 9/11 True Story programme (stupid Sky+ didn't record the end AGAIN!)
Was very impressed with it. Dealt with the issue very well and was well put together. Found it tough to watch towards the end though, anything to do with the Twin Towers attacks gets to me emotionally.

On a similar vein to this I have got the 9/11 dvd which told the story of a rookie fire fighter who started with the NYFD only a few weeks before the attack
