Considering the peformances as a whole it is very surprising - but I think most teams have struggled to get going and are taking points off of each other.
Hats off to Cardiff though, after everyone started writing them off when it was found out Ruff wasn't going to be playing for them and losing both challenge games to the blaze. They have come out flying and from reports are playing like a team.

According to the EIHL website where they have a table of all 14 teams from the BNL and EIHL Sheffield are bottom which means they are at present officially the worst team in the country

I don't have a hat but am thinking of buying one especially to doff their acclaims

Actually we are 3rd, the table has been posted incorrectly, as it is sorted by point wins (total inc overtime wins) and then by regulation wins. This means Panthers should be above Blaze as we have both got 4 points, both got 1 win, but the Panthers won in regulation where as the Blaze won in OT.
At least that is how they did it last season, and I have not seen an announcement stating any changes.

Why are we getting all this bad press could it be the fact that last season we got pushed around a fair bit and because Thommo has done somthing about it and its us doing the pushing back people dont like it and giving us a load of stick for it?

We are 3rd in the table level on points with the Panthers so you could say that we are joint second ;D. Cardiff have had a good start getting 3 wins out of 3. I had a feeling that they would have a good team this season. It would be great if Blaze can beat them on Saturday night.

Yeh that's a very good point, last season Blaze were pushed around and intimidated, now look at us. Big Andre Payette to stick up for the team, plus Schuller, Schlender etc...they can all look after themselves. Other teams need to come to terms with the NEW Blaze team, they won't be messed with
