Great game tonight at the Skydome, very close! I'm not gonna bother writing a massive match report, but Blaze fought to the very end and got the deserved 2points in OT. I totally thank John Craighead for tonights victory, putting himself in the box in OT for a stupid check on (Schlender i believe) and giving us the 4 on 3 power-play to get the winning goal.
....And is was all without the BIG MAN, Andre Payette!
2 point weekend, not too bad!

I totally thank John Craighead for tonights victory Yup, me too, although i think we probs could've won anyway. Great game though, and great atmosphere in the arena aswell. |

an absolute stormer of a game. craighead looked old and slow , not up the challenge. Mihalik Played extrely well and Martin did to.
And craighead checked Mihilik. from were i saw it anyway.

Perfect to get the one win we didn't get last year- Panthers at home. Lets hope we keep our NIC record going as well (3 wins)

And what a bullet from Vrabel...let's hope he's now found his range and it will give him a boost in confidence-he has so far (apart from the MK challenge game) appeared to be the slowest to adapt.
On a side note-someone should inform the Devils that a GAME penalty is for the remainder of the game currently being played, and therefore on its own has no bearing on the following game, while a MATCH penalty is effectively a 1-game suspension imposed by the referee. However, I believe that 3 GAMES = a MATCH-leading to a suspension-I'm sure James will correct me on this if I"m wrong...
