I have been saying this ever since I started watching ice hockey, which was nearly 3 years ago now. The song they play when the opposition score where The Rock goes "It Doesn't Matter" is totally silly and inapropriate. Obviously when the oppostition score it "Does Matter", especially if it is a close game or an important game. I remember the Dundee Stars Playoff Final at the Sky Dome in 2002 where they scored 7 goals past us and I remember getting really annoyed when I was having to hear that song, because it was the playoff final so them scoring 7 goals past us did matter. I probably wasn't as in to ice hockey back then as I am now but it still annoyed me. So basically this is a petition for them to stop playing that song when the opposition score.

Hmm, i like the song when the goal actually "doesn't matter" but as Rich said, when were being hammered, it's really annoying!
Keep playing it, but when the goal matters, find another track!

I love the way one rink (And I can't remember which) plays Tragedy when the oppo score. Surely more appropriate than some blase comment based tune

This topic is genius... Come on people-sign the thing, email John, do whatever-I shall do my best this Sunday to not play it-I could never stand the song either...but in the absence of anything on the board, I've had to play it up til now. With any luck, there should be Baby, I Don't Care as the opposition goal song any game now-until then, I might vary it...  |

get shot of it when 'it does matter' if we are well clear then play it cos then its funny.
cant we play other things when we score also?, things like one step beyond maybe?.
