I have been informed that there is a chance that John Dalziel may not be there to announce the Blaze Giants game, and if he isn't then Andy Buxton will take the mic.
I was just wandering what people thought about this?
To me it would seem daft as we have an announcing team in John and Wheeler. So why if John cannot make it is Wheeler not to be given the mic. Does Andy not feel that Wheeler is up to it, and if this is the case then why have him as part of the announcing team in the first place.
Personally I think that if John can't make it then Wheeler should be given the chance. It is after all what he was brought in to help out with.

Hmmm interesting.
Don't know really... Wheeler isn't really an announcer at the moment is he? He plays the music, John does the announcing. It's not like they split the announcing duties between them, so I don't think Wheeler's exactly being robbed by someone else doing it.
How did you hear about John not being there?

I heard on wednesday night John say that he might not be back in time to do the game.

After speaking with Andy last night at the Bison game, it's a 50/50 chance that John will be there. If he doesnt make it to the Skydome in time (Family problems) then Andy will start the announcing! Hope that clears things up!

People have said that they prefer Andy announcing. I'd have to disagree there. T-boy's doin a top job.

Andy did a good job to night just lacked the razamataz of a pro dj and i would like to thank everybody for observing the minute silence for my mate mark i know he would have been chuffed to bits
