Good post RJH and Carpo- cheers for the stats. The blaze look very promising and the standard of hockey that I have seen so far is better than it was last season. I'm a happy chappy! They were two excellent games and the blaze looked like they could have won them both, but it didn't quite happen, the puck just didn't go our way this weekend, but 2 points is a decent start and i saw plenty sexy hockey.

I still think we need a sharp shooter in front of the net i know the puck didnt go our way and both net minders led a charmed life against us but the stats say 98 shots on goal with only 7 scored in our first two games which in anybodys book does not look good

A very good match with many twists and turns. Just when we thought Klempa was unbeatable up pops Neal Martin. Well done to the Giants for getting their first eeevveeerr point at the Skydome though.
Think this year the matches will prove fairly difficult to predict if the opening week end is anything to go by
