...under the whole Manny/Payette incident.
Firstly: If it WAS a check to the head (and that's something that you can only judge from having seen it, and I very much doubt there are many fans of Blaze or Devils who could honestly say they'd seen it clearly) then it was dangerous, and Andre deserved his 2+10-the 'Manny was a young Brit, therefore it's worse' argument used by some Devils on this foum has no bearing whatsoever-if it had been Steve Moria the effects could have been equally catastrophic, so why do they bring it up? More to the point, it probably wasn't the best idea to chant his name on the way off-I seem to remember Blaze fans going absolutely ballistic when the Devils did that with Mike Ware last season.
Secondly: the moderators should keep an eye out-it seems from going on both this and the Devils forum that there are some who cannot distinguish between friendly rivalry and outright hatred-there have been some very childish things posted on both sides. If anyone is going to start winding things up beyond a friendly level (and there have been people from both sides doing that on here) then they should be banned. Period. Now for God's sake can both sides just move on, and look forward to the coming battles between the two sides.
Just for the record, I thought Manny was far and away the Devils MoM, and was glad to see he was OK from what was an absolutely thumping hit-to the head or otherwise.
